ZOOLANDER

OWEN WILSON (Hansel) has received high acclaim for his acting and screenwriting talents, displaying a disarmingly offbeat sensibility. He was most recently seen in "Meet the {Parents," with Ben Stiller; and "Shanghai Noon," opposite Jackie Chan. Other recent credits include the eerie crime drama, "The Minus Man," and "The Haunting."

Wilson also appeared with Ben Stiller in "Permanent Midnight"; the smash hit "Armageddon," opposite Bruce Willis and Ben Affleck; Stiller's "The Cable Guy," with Jim Carrey and Matthew Broderick; "Anaconda"; and "Breakfast of Champions."

The highly acclaimed "Bottle Rocket" marked Wilson's film debut as both an actor and writer. Co-written with, and directed by Wes Anderson, the film also starred Wilson's brother Luke.

Wilson's quirky vision as a writer was last seen in the acclaimed comedy "Rushmore," again co-written with director Wes Anderson. The film, on which Wilson also served as executive producer, was named on many critics' Top Ten lists for 1999. Following "Zoolander," Wilson will be seen in "Stealing Stanford," and "The Royal Tenanbaums," again with Ben Stiller.

Originally from Dallas, Texas, Wilson received a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Texas.
