JOHN TRAVOLTA (Frank Morrison) has twice received Academy Award® nominations — first for his role in Saturday Night Fever, a film which will live as a historical imprint for an entire generation; and secondly for his riveting portrayal of a philosophical hit man in Quentin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction. The latter film also earned him BAFTA and Golden Globe nominations, and the Los Angeles Film Critics Association's Best Actor Award. Travolta's highly praised performance as a Mafioso-turned-movie producer in the comedy Get Shorty earned him a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy.

Among other honors, Travolta has received BAFTA's Britannia Award, the Chicago Film Festival's Lifetime Achievement Award, the Broadcast Film Critics Association's Alan J. Pakula Award for A Civil Action and a Golden Globe nomination for Primary Colors. Other film credits include The General's Daughter, Battlefield Earth, Face/Off, The Thin Red Line, Michael, Phenomenon, Broken Arrow, the Look Who's Talking films, Blow Out, Urban Cowboy, Grease and Carrie. Travolta was recently seen in Dominic Sena's Swordfish, a counter-espionage thriller also starring Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry, Don Cheadle, Vinnie Jones and Sam Shepard.
