(Jimmy Silk) co-starred opposite Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu in Charlie 's Angels, and was recently seen in Frank Darabont's Oscar-nominated The Green Mile with Tom Hanks, as well as in the sci-fi spoof Galaxy Quest, opposite Tim Allen and Sigourney Weaver. His performance in John Duigan's Lawn Dogs earned him Best Actor Awards at both the Montreal and Barcelona Film Festivals.
A familiar face in independent films, he appeared in Safe Men, opposite Steve
Harvey Fierstein and Michael Lerner; Saul Rubinek's dark comedy Jerry and Tom; Box of
Moonlight, opposite John Turturro; Drunks, with Richard Lewis, Parker Posey and
Faye Dunaway; Paul Schrader's Light Sleeper, with Willem Dafoe; and Last Exit to Brooklyn with
Jennifer Jason Leigh. His feature film debut was in Francis Ford Coppola's Clown House, while
he was still a student at the High School of the Performing Arts. Rockwell also appeared in
Woody Allen's Celebrity and Michael Hoffman's A Midsummer Night's Dream, with Kevin
Kline and Michelle Pfeiffer.
On television, Rockwell appeared in the HBO special Dead Drunk, as well as episodes of NYPD Blue, Law & Order and The Equalizer.
On stage, Rockwell performed in the recent Off-Broadway production of "Goosepimples," which was written by noted filmmaker Mike Leigh. He had the privilege of performing the last two summers at the esteemed Williamstown Theatre Festival in "Hot L Baltimore," Harold Pinter's "Zoo Story" and "The Dumbwaiter," directed by Joe Montello.
