ZOE SALDANA (Kit) made her feature film debut at the start of the new millennium in the crowd-pleasing "Center Stage." She followed in 2001 with the critically-acclaimed coming-of-age film "Get Over It," opposite Kirsten Dunst. She is currently working on "Drumline" opposite Orlando Jones.

Born on June 19, 1978 in New Jersey and raised in Queens. New York, Saldana moved at age ten with her family to the Dominican Republic where she won a dance scholarship and studied ballet, jazz, modern, Ska, African and hip hop. She moved back to New York after her sophomore year in high school and joined a theatre group called FACES, an improvisational group that performed skits for teenagers, teaching them how to deal with domestic and substance abuse.

In addition to her recent role in the independent film "Snipes," which made its world premiere at the 2001 Toronto Film Festival, Saldana has guest starred in such television series as "Law and Order'' and "Keeping It Real."
