HARRISON'S FLOWERS

BRENDAN GLEESON (Stevenson) is the critically acclaimed Irish actor whose breakthrough performance was in the Academy Award, winner Braveheart.

Previously a teacher, Gleeson made his film debut in Jim Sheridan's The Field. His film credits include: Tailor of Panama, Mission Impossible: II, The General, I Went Down, Far and Away, Into The West and The Treaty. He received the London Film Critics and the Boston Film Critics Awards for his role in The General, based on the life of Irish criminal Martin Cahill.

This year, he will appear in the Irish film Wild About Harry, Steven Spielberg's A.I. and Martin Scorsese's The Gangs of New York. He has just finished filming Ron Shelton's Plague Season.

His next project is John Boorman's A Knight 's Castle which commences filming September 2001.
