JOHN LEE HANCOCK (Director). a former attorney turned director writer/ producer, has brought to life a range of projects as eclectic as his own past. Hancock produced the heartwarming feature "My Dog Skip," starring Kevin Bacon, Diane Lane and Frankie Muniz. adapted the bestseller "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" directed by Clint Eastwood. and wrote the original script for "A Perfect World." starring Kevin Costner and Clint Eastwood.

Among his other television projects. Hancock created, produced and directed episodes of the CBS drama "L.A. Doctors" and executive produced the CBS drama "Falcone." In the realm of theater, he served as a member of Fountainhead Theater Company and. with Brandon Lee. founded Legal Aliens Theater Company in Los Angeles.

A native of Texas City. Texas. Hancock obtained his B.A. in English from Baylor University and his J.D. from Baylor University Law School. He served for four years as an attorney with Houston-based Sowell & Ogg before segueing into entertainment as a production coordinator, location scout and assistant director for numerous productions.
