ADAM GOLDBERG (Tony) portrayed Private Mellish, the cynical New Yorker who taunts the German soldiers with his Jewish heritage in director Steven Spielberg's "Saving Private Ryan." He also appeared opposite Russell Crowe as a fellow Princeton graduate student in the Academy Award®-winning "A Beautiful Mind" for director Ron Howard.

Goldberg made his directing and screen-writing debut with "Scotch and Milk," a neo-noir drama on which he also served as executive producer, co-editor and star. He is currently directing his second film, which he also co-wrote, "I Love Your Work," a darkly comedic feature starring Giovanni Ribisi, Franka Potente, Jason Lee, Vince Vaughn and Christina Ricci.

Goldberg stars in the upcoming independent feature, "The Hebrew Hammer," which premiered at the 2003 Sundance Film Festival. The spoof stars Goldberg as ‘Mordechai,' a handsome Orthodox Jew who goes on mission to save Hanukkah from an evil Santa. He has previously acted in such features as "The Salton Sea," "All Over the Guy," "Sunset Strip," Edtv," "The Prophecy," "Higher Learning," "Dazed and Confused" and "Mr. Saturday Night."
