MEN IN BLACK II

Academy Award® nominated WILL SMITH returns to his monochrome suit in the role of Agent Jay, the most devoted super-agent in the world's most clandestine organization.

Smith has most recently starred in the title role in Ali, the biographical drama of the boxer whose charismatic style and combative temperament shook the world. His performance earned him Best Actor Award nominations from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, Hollywood Foreign Press Association and the Image Awards. He previously starred with Matt Damon in Robert Redford's The Legend of Bagger Vance, for which he won the NAACP Award for Best Actor. Prior to that, Smith starred in the box office hit Wild Wild West, for which he also recorded the hit theme song. His company, Overbrook Entertainment, produced the soundtrack that sold over two million copies.

In addition to toplining the Tony Scott thriller Enemy of the State, Smith starred in two of the biggest box office hits of all time, Independence Day and Men in Black, for which he recorded the Grammy-winning theme song. His earlier films include the action hit Bad Boys, the Oscar®-nominated Six Degrees of Separation, Made in America and Where the Day Takes You.

Smith's box-office power has been recognized by NATO/ShoWest three times, in 2002 as "Male Star of the Year," in 1999 as winner of the International Box Office Achievement Award and in 1995 as "Male Star of Tomorrow." In addition, Smith was named "1999 Entertainer of the Year" at the NAACP Image Awards.

Smith began his career in music where he cut his first record as a high school senior and, shortly thereafter, teamed with his friend Jeff Townes to record several platinum and multi-platinum albums as DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince. Smith's first solo album, Big Willie Style, has sold eight million copies. His follow-up album Willennium featured the hit single Will2K and both went double platinum, selling over two million copies.

On television, Smith can still be seen starring in syndicated re-runs of the enormously successful situation comedy "Fresh Prince of Bel Air", created for him by Quincy Jones.
