LISA GAY HAMILTON (Lola Jansco) first worked with director Jonathan Demme in the 1998 drama Beloved with Oprah Winfrey and Danny Glover. Her other film credits include True Crime with Clint Eastwood, Quentin Tarantino's Jackie Brown, the independents Palookaville and Drunks, Showtime's A House Divided opposite Sam Waterston, and director Campbell Scott's Hamlet, as Ophelia.

Hamilton earned an Ovation nomination for best actress for her work in Athol Fugard's Valley Song at the Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles. That performance, in the role of Veronica, also won her an Obie Award, the Clarence Derwent Award and a Drama Desk nomination.

A graduate of the Julliard School's drama division, Hamilton has extensive theater credits including Measure by Measure at the New York Shakespeare Festival opposite Kevin Kliine and Andre Braugher.

She was also a member of the original Broadway company of August Wilson's The Piano Lesson.

She is currently a series regular on David E. Kelley's Emmy Award-winning drama The Practice.
