THE EMPEROR'S CLUB

PATRICK DEMPSEY (Fred Masoudi as an adult) drew strong reviews for his role as a young Meyer Lanksy in Mobsters, but it was his guest appearances on the hit television series Once and Again that brought him an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series.

He can next be seen in the feature Sweet Home Alabama, opposite Reese Witherspoon. He is currently signed to star opposite Hilary Swank and Anjelica Huston in HBO Films' Iron Jawed Angels, which begins production this fall in Virginia.

Dempsey began his acting career as a teenager and made his film debut in Heaven Help Us. His film credits also include In the Mood, Can't Buy Me Love, With Honors, Some Girls, Outbreak and Scream 3.

On television, Dempsey recently guest starred in Will & Grace. He also starred in J.F.K: Reckless Youth, The Right to Remain Silent, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, Crime and Punishment opposite Ben Kingsley and the mini-series Blonde.

Born and raised in Lewiston, Maine, he first appeared on stage as David in the San Francisco production of Torch Song Trilogy. His other stage credits include On Golden Pond, Brighton Beach Memoirs and The Subject Was Roses.
