ZOOEY DESCHANEL (Samantha) is swiftly emerging as one of Hollywood's most sought after young actresses. Audiences will have an opportunity to see her star in no less than five projects in 2002 including the recent comedy "The Good Girl," which premiered at this year's Sundance Film Festival. Deschanel, who received rave reviews for her performance, co-stars opposite Jennifer Aniston.

Earlier this year, Deschanel co-starred in Barry Sonnefeld's ensemble film "Big Trouble" along with Tim Allen and Renee Russo and in "The New Guy" with DJ Qualls. Later this fall, she will be seen starring alongside Don Cheadle in the independent feature "Manic," which premiered at last year's Sundance Film Festival and in David Gordon Green's independent film "All the Real Girls."

Deschanel made her feature film debut in 1999 in Lawrence Kasdan's ensemble comedy, Mumford," then co-starred with Billy Crudup, Kate Hudson and Frances McDormand in Cameron Crowe's critically acclaimed "Almost Famous."

Her theatre background includes the role of Little Red Riding Hood in Interact Theatre Company's production of "Into The Woods," for which she received numerous accolades.
