UNDER THE TUSCAN SUN

RAOUL BOVA (Marcello) is one of the most popular and talented actors in contemporary Italian cinema. His debut movie, "Una Storia Italiana,” was both a critical and popular success, as was "Cominiciò Tutto per Caso,” co-starring Margherita Buy. He sealed his superstar status in his native Italy with the film "Piccolo Grande Amore,” and the TV drama "La Piovra.”

Raoul's filmography includes "La Lupa” and "Palermo Milano solo Andata” with Giancarlo Giannini; "Il Sindaco del Rione Sanita” with Anthony Quinn and Susannah York; the French production "Madame De…” with Carole Bouquet; and "I Cavalieri Che Fecero l'Impresa” with F. Murray Abraham, distributed in Europe and the United States, directed by Pupi Avati.

Recently he starred with Sophia Loren in "Francesca e Nunziata,” directed by Lina Wertmuller, and alongside Sylvester Stallone in the comedy "Avenging Angelo.”

Raoul's latest film, "La Finestra di Fronte,”won more Donatello Awards (Italy's equivalent to the Oscar®) this year than any other picture, and it has the distinction of being Italy's top-grossing film of 2003. Raoul won the President's Award for Best Actor for this film, which he accepted at the Venice Film Festival in September.
