VINCENT RIOTTA (Martini) was born and educated in England. He studied drama at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and went on to play a variety of stage roles, including Shakespeare's Romeo at the Young Vic and Tennessee Williams' brutish Stanley in "A Streetcar Named Desire” at the Leicester Haymarket. He has also played in the twin roles of "The Corsican Brothers” at the Abbey in Dublin, portrayed Rodolfo in Arthur Miller's "A View from the Bridge” for the BBC, and the lead role of Geoffrey in "Fridays At Seven” at the Court Theatre in West Hollywood. 

His numerous television credits range from the long-running UK soap "Coronation Street” to "JAG” for NBC. His numerous film credits include the lead in "Ballad of the Nightingale,” opposite Virginia Madsen; featured roles in "Heaven” with Cate Blanchett; "Captain Corelli's Mandolin” with Nicolas Cage; and most recently the leads in "Bella Bettien” directed by Hans Pos and in "Nema Problema,” about war reporters in Bosnia. 

Riotta won the Best Actor award at the Barcelona Film Festival for his portrayal of mob boss Al Capone in "A Little Worm.” He is fluent in Italian.
