JEREMY SUAREZ (Koda) gives an energetic and engaging performance as the voice of this confident and carefree cub.

Suarez observes, "Koda is a character that everybody can relate to. Everybody knows somebody who acts like him. He's just carefree and one of those characters you love to be around. He's comical, innocent and he loves to talk. Koda teaches Kenai an important lesson about love and hate. Kenai thinks that bears are just out to kill humans, but my character is able to show him the world from a whole other point of view.

"The story really made this film for me,” adds Suarez. "It's a great family film. The film is about brotherhood and it shows the bond between the different characters. I loved being a part of it and having a chance to work with Joaquin and Phil Collins. Singing a Phil Collins song was really great.”

Suarez was nominated in 2003 for the NAACP Image Award in the category of Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for his role as Jordan Thomkins on "The Bernie Mac Show.” He reprises the role this fall as the show moves into its third season. His other notable TV roles include "Sister, Sister,” "Chicago Hope” (playing recurring character Raymond Wilkes), "The Wayans Bros.,” "Mad TV,” "Built to Last,” and "Beverly Hills, 90210.”

The actor made his feature film debut at age six in Cameron Crowe's "Jerry Maguire” (1996), making critical and literal impact as the office-destroying Tyson, son of Cuba Gooding Jr.'s sports star Rod Tidwell. His other film credits include "Susan's Plan” (1998) and "Maniac Magee” (2003). Most recently, he was cast in Joel and Ethan Coen's remake of "The Ladykillers,” starring Tom Hanks, scheduled for release from Touchstone Pictures in 2004.

His animation credits include voices for "Hey Arnold!,” "The Land Before Time VIII: The Big Freeze,” "The Adventures of Elmo in Grouchland” and Disney's "Treasure Planet.”
