SEYMOUR CASSEL (Morty O'Reilly) is an Oscar Nominee whose career includes 140 films and over 100 television credits. He recently completed work on the films "The Bride of the Sea” with Sonya Braga, and "The Life Aquatic” with Bill Murray, Kate Winslet and Angelica Huston.

His diverse big screen credits include "The Royal Tenenbaums,” "Time & Again,” "Stealing Harvard,” "The Crew,” "Black & White,” "Rushmore,” "Trees Lounge” and "Imaginary Crimes.” Plus: "It Could Happen to You,” "Indecent Proposal,” "Honeymoon in Vegas,” "White Fang,” "Dick Tracy,” "Colors,” "Johnny Be Good,” "Tin Men” and "In the Soup,” for which he won a Special Outstanding Performance Award from the Sundance Film Festival.

His Academy Award nomination and the National Film Critics Award as Best Supporting Actor in John Cassavetes' "Faces” highlighted Cassel's early career. His eight picture association with Cassavetes includes Cassel's New York Film Critic's award for his starring role in "Minnie and Moskowitz” and an associate producer credit for "Shadows.”

On television, Cassel played a recurring character on the HBO "Tracy Takes On” and "Matlock” and was a series regular on "Under Suspicion” and "Good Company.” He also appeared in the miniseries "The Last Don” and the television movies "Face of a Stranger,” "Dead in the Water,” "Beverly Hills Madam,” Nicolas Roeg's "Sweet Bird of Youth,” and Don Siegel's "I Want to Live” and "The Hanged Man.”
