THE PERFECT SCORE

DARIUS MILES (Desmond) makes his feature film acting debut in "The Perfect Score.” Raised in East St. Louis, he began playing basketball in the fifth grade at the urging of his mother. Quickly becoming a star on the court, he was the first high school player drafted by the Los Angeles Clippers, in 2000. He participated in the McDonald's All-America Game and the Nike Hoop Summit. Miles finished his first pro season ranked sixth in field goal percentage and first among rookies. Chosen for the Rookie Challenge at the NBA All-Star Weekend, he was named to the All-Rookie first team. During his premiere year with the Clippers, Miles had one of the top-10 highest selling league jerseys in the NBA.

Miles is currently working with Reebok's RBK marketing campaign, which is introducing him as one of the new core 13 basketball players and promoting his playing shoes, the 13 Phoenix. He has also appeared in television commercials directed by filmmaker Spike Lee and in a cameo role in the film "Van Wilder” starring Tara Reid.
