CLUB DREAD

In addition to starring as Putman, JAY CHANDRASEKHAR also directed and co-wrote CLUB DREAD. Named one of Variety's "10 Directors to Watch in 2001,” Chandrasekhar is a filmmaker, comedy writer and performer, and serves as the director of the Broken Lizard Comedy Group.

CLUB DREAD marks the third feature film directed by Chandresekhar. His previous film, SUPER TROOPERS, was featured as a midnight screening at the 2001 Sundance Film Festival, and went on to earn more than $20 million at the box office. Chandrasekhar's directorial feature film debut, PUDDLE CRUISER, was the winner of the Hamptons International Film Festival Grand Prize for Best Film and screened at the Sundance, London International and South by Southwest film festivals.

Following PUDDLE CRUISER, Chandrasekhar directed "Safety School” a primetime pilot for NBC Television created by Broken Lizard. In addition to his Broken Lizard work, Chandrasekhar recently directed episodes of Fox's critically acclaimed hits, "Undeclared” and "Arrested Development.” He has also directed several commercials for both Coca-Cola and Nike.
