New mom, Golden Globe Award winner and Academy Award® nominee KATE HUDSON's (Helen) starring role as Andie Anderson, in the boxoffice smash hit "How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days” opposite Matthew McConaughey, has firmly established her as one of Hollywood's most exciting young stars. Her performance in Cameron Crowe's "Almost Famous” earned her a Golden Globe Award, an Academy Award® nomination as Best Supporting Actress, and a BAFTA nomination as Best Actress, along with numerous other honors and recognition around the world. Hudson made her studio film debut in "200 Cigarettes” with Ben Affleck, Courtney Love and Christina Ricci; next, co-starring opposite Christina Ricci and Casey Affleck in Morgan J. Freeman's "Desert Blue,” followed by the psychological drama "Gossip.”

She portrayed Richard Gere's daughter in "Dr. T and the Women” directed by Robert Altman and was next seen in "About Adam,” co-starring Stuart Townsend and Frances O'Connor.

Hudson co-starred with Heath Ledger in "The Four Feathers,” opposite Heath Ledger and Wes Bentley for director Shekhar Kapur. Last summer, she starred in Merchant-Ivory's contemporary comedy, "Le Divorce” and in Rob Reiner's "Alex and Emma.” She will soon be seen in "Skeleton Key.”

Hudson is a principal in Cosmic Entertainment, a production entity comprised of her own banner, Birdie Productions, as well as the production companies of Goldie Hawn, Kurt Russell and Oliver Hudson. Kate and the company are actively producing and developing more than a dozen projects for film and television.
