THE LAST SHOT

CALISTA FLOCKHART (Valerie Weston) began her acting career in the theatre, starring in such classic roles as Juliet in "Romeo and Juliet,” Cordelia in "King Lear,” Irina in "The Three Sisters,” and Emily in "Our Town,” among many others. She made her Broadway debut opposite Julie Harris in "The Glass Menagerie,” for which she received the Theatre World Award, and the Clarence Derwent Best New Talent Award. Among her additional New York theatre credits are "The Loop,” "Sophistry,” "Sons and Fathers,” "Wrong Turn at Lungfish,” "All for One,” and "Mad Forest.”

In 1997, after numerous feature film credits including roles in "Naked in New York,” "Quiz Show,” "Pictures of Baby Jane,” "The Birdcage,” and "Milk & Money,” Flockhart was cast as attorney Ally McBeal in the hit television series of the same name, written and created by David E.Kelley. For her performance on this program she won a Golden Globe Award® and a People's Choice Award, and received several Emmy Award® nominations.

Flockhart has recently been named the spokesperson for the V-Day youth initiative to help stop violence against young women worldwide. She also participated in a two-week New York run of Eve Ensler's "The Vagina Monologues,” for which proceeds are contributed to the cause.
