BEYOND THE GATES OF SPLENDOR With over 20 years experience in commercials and short films, JIM HANON brings the stories to life and captures the heart of each experience. Jim is the director and writer of Beyond the Gates, and director and co-writer of End of the Spear. He was a vice president at Leo Burnett in Chicago before he co-founded both Hanon McKendry Advertising and Compass Arts, a non-profit film production organization based in Michigan. Jim created commercials and short films for over 20 years and has directed them for the last nine years before joining Every Tribe Entertainment. His work has earned the recognition of audiences and critics including New York International Film Festival Silver, Chicago International Film Festival Silver, Cannes International Film Festival, and the Heartland Film Festival’s Crystal Heart award.
