BORIS KODJOE (David Taylor) made his feature debut in the Spike Lee produced Love and Basketball. He also starred in Brown Sugar and went on to win an NAACP Image Award nomination in the category of Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture.

Kodjoe's television role include a starring role on Showtime's award¬winning drama Soul Food, for which he received NAACP Image Awards in 2002 and 2003 in the category of Outstanding Actor in a Drama Series. His other credits include Second Time Around opposite his wife, Nicole Ari Parker, and a guest appearance on the comedy series For Your Love.

Born in Vienna, Austria, Kodjoe grew up in Germany the son of a psychologist and a physician. A former model, he was approached by Ford Modeling Agency in 1996 after earning a marketing degree at Virginia Commonwealth University, which he attended on a tennis scholarship. Kodjoe's successful modeling career included advertising campaigns for Perry Ellis, Yves Saint Laurent, The Gap, and Polo Ralph Lauren, which was seen worldwide.
