ALOMA WRIGHT (Ernestine) is one of Hollywood's busiest character actresses. Some of her recent film credits include The Johnson Family Vacation with Cedric the Entertainer, Steve Harvey, Vanessa L. Williams, and Bow Wow. Wright has also had supporting roles in Deliver Us from Eva, The Brothers, Kingdom Come, Mr. Deeds, and Bring It On.

Television fans know her currently as Nurse LaVerne Roberts on "Scrubs". Wright has also been seen on "Cold Case", "Kevin Hill", "Committed", "Method and Red", "Medical Investigations", and "NYPD Blue." She has had recurring roles on: "The Drew Carrey Show", "The Parkers", "Ally McBeal" and "Judging Amy." Upon graduation from New York's prestigious American Academy of Dramatic arts, Wright toured with Ain't Misbehavin. Next up was The Gospel Truth, with Jennifer Holliday, Tramine Hawkins and Johnny Brown. Most recently her theatrical contributions have included Black Woman's Blues, starring with Dawn Lewis, Vanessa Bell Calloway, and Wendy Raquel Robinson, as well as directing a successful run of the musical Fat Girls, both at LATC and Stage 52.
