Veteran actor IAN HOLM has enjoyed a prolific stage and screen career spanning close to five decades. He has worked with directors as diverse as Kenneth Branagh, Peter Jackson, Atom Egoyan, Danny Boyle, Stanley Tucci, Ridley Scott, Richard Eyre, Mike Newell, Peter Hall, Richard Attenborough, Terry Gilliam, Luc Besson and Franco Zeffirelli.

A selection of Holm's big screen credits range from both high profile international successes to lower key critically acclaimed productions including The Day After Tomorrow, Lord of the Rings, From Hell, Simon Magus, The Sweet Hereafter, The Fifth Element, The Madness of King George, Frankenstein, Hamlet, Brazil, Inside the Third Reich, Chariots of Fire, Alien, All Quiet on the Western Front and Oh, What a Lovely War.

On the small screen the roles Holm has taken on include The Last of the Blonde Bombshells, King Lear, Roald Dahl's Little Red Riding Hood, Landscape, and two series of the Borrowers for the BBC, amongst others. Theatrically, his credits range from Moonlight and Landscape, The Homecoming, The Room, Uncle Vanya, The Iceman Cometh to Romeo and Juliet , Henry V and The Cherry Orchard.
