THE PRIZE WINNER OF DEFIANCE OHIO

ELLARY PORTERFIELD (Tuff Ryan at 13, 16 & 18 yrs) makes her feature film debut in "The Prize Winner of Defiance, Ohio.”

Porterfield embarked on her career almost three years ago when she auditioned for a talent scout in her hometown of Bend, Oregon. Impressed by what they saw, they invited her to Los Angeles to compete in a "Best New Talent” contest. Porterfield returned home with two trophies (Best Junior Teen Actor and Best Comedian) and a manager. In 2002, she appeared in her first television show, "Stuck in the Middle,” a comedy pilot for NBC.

Porterfield continues to live in Oregon with her family, which includes her parents, Walt and Traci; her younger brother, Harlan; two dogs, Ruby and Peso; and a cat, Pooh. In addition to her acting, she has taken piano lessons for eight years and studies ballet en pointe.
