JON LOVITZ (Mel) gained notoriety as a series regular cast member on "Saturday Night Live" between 1985-1990. Since then, he has starred in more than 35 feature films including the recent musical film version of The Producers. Other credits include Big, A League of Their Own, City Slickers 2, Happiness, Small Time Crooks, The Wedding Singer and Rat Race. He was the voice of Tom Baltezor in Adam Sandler's Eight Crazy Nights and Calico in Cats & Dogs. Next, Lovitz stars in writer/director Richard Kelly's follow-up to Donnie Darko, entitled Southland Tales, as well as Amy Heckerling's I Could Never Be Your Woman opposite Michelle Pfeiffer and Paul Rudd.

On television, he voiced the title character of the cartoon "The Critic" and has performed recurring voices on "The Simpsons."

Lovitz started on a new avenue of performing stand-up comedy two years ago, fulfilling a life-long dream. He now has his own show every Wednesday at the Laugh Factory in Los Angeles and is currently performing his act all over the country, including a recent engagement in Honolulu.
