THE LAST KISS

An accomplished and versatile performer, CASEY AFFLECK (Chris) is poised to establish himself as a powerful leading man with singular performances in a handful of upcoming projects.

Early next year, Casey will appear in the Warner Bros. release "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford.” Written and directed by Andrew Dominik ("Chopper”), the film stars Casey as Ford opposite Brad Pitt's Jesse James. The film tells the story of Ford's growing resentment toward James after joining the legendary outlaw's gang, and his subsequent plan to kill "The Fastest Gun in the West.” The film also stars Sam Rockwell, Sam Shepard, and Zooey Deschanel. 

Casey recently wrapped production on "Gone, Baby, Gone” for Miramax. Based on Dennis Lehane's novel of the same title, and adapted for the screen and featuring the directorial debut by Ben Affleck, the film is a story about a two Boston detectives in search of a four year old girl who has been kidnapped. The film will also star Ed Harris. Casey is currently filming "Ocean's Thirteen” in Las Vegas, reprising his role as Virgil Malloy in the third installment of the series.

Also an accomplished screenwriter, Casey recently penned the original screenplay for "Aardvark Art's Ark,” an animated family film that he will also Executive Produce for Warner Bros. The film tells the story of a family of animals who set sail on Noah's Ark find wild adventures when the waters get dangerous  On stage, Casey appeared in Kenneth Lonergan's West End debut of his Award winning play "This is Our Youth.” Casey played the role of ‘Warren' alongside Matt Damon and Summer Phoenix. 

Previously, Casey co-wrote with and starred alongside Matt Damon in Gus Van Sant's independent road movie "Gerry.” He has also appeared in Van Sant's "Good Will Hunting” and "To Die For,” "Hamlet” with Ethan Hawke and Julia Stiles, "Ocean's Eleven” and "Ocean's Twelve.”

Additional films include "Lonesome Jim,” "Soul Survivors,” "American Pie 2,” "Attention Shoppers,” "Committed,” "Drowning Mona,” "Floating,” "American Pie,” "200 Cigarettes,” "Desert Blue” and "Race the Sun.” 

On television, he was seen in the ABC mini-series "The Kennedys of Massachusetts” and the PBS telefilm, "Lemon Sky” based on Lanford Wilson's play and starring Kevin Bacon.
