Golden Globe nominee EVA LONGORIA stars on the ABC mega hit "Desperate Housewives,” (SUNDAY 9:00 p.m. P/E), where she portrays Latin sexpot "Gabrielle Solis.” One of People's "50 Most Beautiful” and the "#1 Hottest Woman in the World” on Maxim's 2005 annual "Hot 100” list, Longoria was also voted by Variety as one of the "Ten New Faces to Watch,” Rolling Stone's "People of the Year” and USA Today's "TV's Hot 11.” In addition, she just signed an exclusive worldwide contract as the newest face of L'Oreal Worldwide and is a spokesperson in both the American and Latin markets for Pepsi. She stars in the indie film HARSH TIMES, alongside Christian Bale and Freddie Rodriguez, which premiered and got rave reviews at the 2005 Toronto Film Festival. In April 2006, Longoria will be seen on the big screen as the female lead in Fox/Regency/Furthur Films' THE SENTINEL, opposite Michael Douglas, Kiefer Sutherland and Kim Basinger, where she plays a Secret Service agent.

Longoria also lends her voice to the upcoming Lions Gate animated film FOODFIGHT, as the sexy, deceitful villainess "Lady X,” opposite Charlie Sheen, Wayne Brady and Hilary Duff. For her prominent role on "Desperate Housewives,” Longoria was recently honored with the National Hispanic Foundation for the Arts' Horizon award, which was established this year to honor breakthrough Latino artists at the forefront of pop culture. True to her heart, she is also the national spokesperson for Padres Contra El Cancer, a non–profit organization committed to improving the quality of life for Latino children with cancer and their families.

On "Desperate Housewives,” which won 2 Golden Globe Awards and a SAG Award its' first year and has over 30 million viewers each week, Longoria plays "Gabrielle Solis,” a glamorous, former runway model married to the handsome, sexy "Carlos.” In this dark comedy that looks at the sexy, insidious and incredibly secretive lives of the inhabitants of a neighborhood cul-de-sac, Gabrielle is "desperate” because all of her teenage dreams did come true and yet she still hates her life. She has learned too late in life that what she wanted and what she got are not the ingredients to her happiness. She is forced to deal with her husband's cold disapproval by having a fling with their 17 year-old gardener. From "Melrose Place”-"Sunset Beach”-"Titans” writer-producer Marc Cherry, "Desperate Housewives” also stars Marcia Cross, Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman and Nicollette Sheridan.

In the upcoming HARSH TIMES, an indie feature, written and directed by David Ayer (TRAINING DAY and THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS), Longoria plays a lawyer and the girlfriend of Rodriguez. HARSH TIMES is a tough-minded drama that follows two men in their 20's through South Central Los Angeles and the violence that ultimately comes between them. In THE SENTINEL, Eva plays "Jill,” a newbie Secret Service Agent, who is as smart as she is beautiful. She teams up with Michael Douglas' character, and together they uncover the plot to assassinate the President. Sutherland plays Douglas' protégé and Basinger plays the First Lady. The film is based on the novel by former Secret Service Agent Gerald Petievich, and the screenplay was penned by George Nolfi (OCEANS TWELVE).

For the first time ever in a digitally animated film, FOODFIGHT combines the fun, classic feel of animation's "Golden Age” with the most advanced 3-D computer animated techniques ever seen. FOODFIGHT takes place in the supermarket at night when the lights go out and all the people leave. Longoria voices "Lady X,” the smart, conniving Brand X product icon who uses her beauty as a means to take over the world. FOODFIGHT co-stars Charlie Sheen, Wayne Brady and Hilary Duff.
