Despite his young age, JOSEPH GORDON-LEVITT has already distinguished himself with a wide range of performances in both television and film. He will next star in John Madden's KILLSHOT, in which he stars alongside Diane Lane, Thomas Jane and Mickey Rourke and the Kimberly Pierce drama, STOP LOSS, opposite Ryan Phillippe, Channing Tatum and Abbie Cornish.

Gordon-Levitt most recently starred in BRICK, written and directed by Rian Johnson and costarring Lukas Haas. The film, and Gordon-Levitt's performance as a teenage lover who pushes his way into the underworld of a high school crime ring to investigate the disappearance of his exgirlfriend, earned raves, competing at the 2005 Sundance Film Festival.

He also recently garnered accolades as a gay hustler haunted by his sexually abused past in the Gregg Araki-directed, MYSTERIOUS SKIN. The New York Times Magazine cited his performance as one of the year's best in their annual "Best Performances of the Year” issue. Gordon-Levitt's film credits also include roles in the following: SHADOWBOXER, with Helen Mirren and Cuba Gooding, Jr., MANIC, the 2001 Sundance Film Festival entry, opposite Don Cheadle and Zooey Deschanel; 10 THINGS I HATE ABOUT YOU, with Julia Stiles and Heath Ledger; HALLOWEEN: H20, starring Jamie Leigh Curtis; THE JUROR, with Demi Moore and Alec Baldwin; the animated film, TREASURE PLANET; the hit family comedy, ANGELS IN THE OUTFIELD, with Danny Glover; and, his feature film debut, Robert Redford's A RIVER RUNS THROUGH IT, a performance that earned him a Young Artist Award for "Best Actor Under Ten.”

Prior to attending Columbia University, he starred in the award-winning NBC comedy "3rd Rock From the Sun” for which he received two Hollywood Reporter "Young Star Awards” and three Screen Actors Guild Award nominations for "Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series.”
