In a relatively short span of time, JACINDA BARRETT has burst upon the scene and left an indelible mark as a beautiful and extremely talented performer.

Barrett's film roles include Wolfgang Petersen's adaptation of POSEIDON, LADDER 49 opposite Joaquin Phoenix and John Travolta, and BRIDGET JONES: THE EDGE OF REASON starring Renee Zellweger. In 2003, Barrett received critical acclaim for her performance in Robert Benton's THE HUMAN STAIN, which co-starred Nicole Kidman, Sir Anthony Hopkins, and Ed Harris. She most recently starred in THE LAST KISS starring opposite Zach Braff, written by Paul Haggis and directed by Tony Goldwyn and SCHOOL FOR SCOUNDRELS opposite Billy Bob Thornton and Jon Heder for director Todd Phillips.

A native of Brisbane, Australia, Barrett studied acting at the British Academy of Dramatic Art in Oxford, England.
