BENEDICT WONG previously earned a British Independent Film Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor for his role as Gui Yi in Stephen Frears' DIRTY PRETTY THINGS. He can also be seen in the upcoming GROW YOUR OWN, directed by Richard Laxton from a script by Frank Cottrell Boyce and Carl Hunter. Also, Wong has just finished filming various roles for a new comedy series, "The Peter Serafinowicz Showā€¯ for the BBC and is about to start filming "Frankensteinā€¯, a one off drama for ITV with Helen McRory, James Purefoy and Lindsay Duncan. Other recent credits include Michael Winterbottom's A COCK AND BULL STORY and Gabby Delall's ON A CLEAR DAY, starring Peter Mullan and Brenda Blethyn. He has also been seen in Tony Scott's SPY GAME, Mike Nichols' WIT. Michael Winterbottom's CODE 46 and Stewart Sugg's KISS KISS (BANG BANG).

Wong's theatre credits include Mark Rylance's production of Julius Caesar, Giles Foster's Anthony and Cleopatra, Richard Oliver's Salarino and Jack Shepherd's The Honest Whore, all performed at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, as well as Robert Delamere's In Arabia We'd All Be Kings at the Hampstead Theatre and Neil Bartlett's The Letter at the Lyric Theatre. Wong's numerous television credits include starring in two series of 15 Storeys High, as well as Eleventh Hour, David Yates' award-winning State of Play, TLC and Breakout.
