JAMES ISAAC began his career in theater, writing and directing plays.
He moved into the world of motion pictures in 1983 when he was hired by
Lucasfilm to work on special effects for Star Wars: The Return of the Jedi.
Throughout the 80's Isaac continued working in special effects and animatronics
for hit movies such as Return of the Jedi, Gremlins and The Fly (Which won an
Oscar for Special Visual Effects). In the 90's Isaac supervised visual effects
for hit films Arachnaphobia, Ace Venture and eXistenz. Isaac also moved into the
directors chair during this period, serving as second Unit Director on Look
Who's Talking Too and Children of the Corn V. In 2002 he took the helm for Jason
X, the tenth film in The Friday the 13th Film Series.
