JEREMY RENNER (Wood Hite) will next be seen starring alongside Ralph Fiennes and Guy Pearce in the independent film "The Hurt Locker,” set for a 2008 release. Earlier this year Renner appeared on screen in the sci-fi thriller "28 Weeks Later,” and co-starred opposite Minnie Driver in the independent film "Take.”

His recent film credits include the acclaimed independent film "12 and Holding,” nominated for the Independent Spirit Awards' John Cassavetes Award; the drama "North Country,” with Charlize Theron; and "Neo Ned,” co-starring Gabrielle Union, which screened at the 2005 Tribeca Film Festival and swept the feature category at the 11th Annual Palm Beach International Film Festival in 2006. "Neo Ned” was named Best Feature Film and Best Director with Best Actor honors going to Renner. Additionally, it won the Outstanding Achievement in Filmmaking Best Feature Film Award at the Newport Beach Film Festival in April 2006 as well as the Audience Awards at the Slamdance, Sarasota and Ashland Film Festivals.

Previously, Renner starred in the 2003 summer hit "S.W.A.T.,” opposite Colin Farrell and Samuel L. Jackson; "A Little Trip to Heaven,” opposite Julia Stiles; "The Heart is Deceitful Above All Things,” directed by Asia Argento and adapted from the critically acclaimed novel by J.T. Leroy; "Lords of Dogtown,” for director Catherine Hardwicke; and the independent film "Love Comes to the Executioner,” written and directed by Kyle Bergersen. The film role that put him on the map and earned Renner an Independent Spirit Award nomination was that of Jeffrey Dahmer in the indie hit "Dahmer.”

Renner keeps in touch with his theatrical background by performing in plays throughout the Los Angeles area. His most memorable was "Search and Destroy,” produced by Barry Levinson, for which he not only starred but also co-directed to stellar reviews.

Additionally, Renner writes, records and performs his own brand of contemporary rock and has written songs for Warner Chapel Publishing and Universal Publishing.
