GIANCARLO ESPOSITO (Roberto) has often been referred to as a chameleon for his ability to inhabit many types of characters. He starred opposite Paul Newman in "Twilight" and Clive Owen in "Derailed." He also has distinguished himself in such films as "Sherrybaby,” "The Usual Suspects," Wayne Wang's "Smoke” and "The Last Holiday."

Esposito received a nomination for an Independent Spirit Award for his performance in "Fresh." He is also recognized for his work in several Spike Lee movies, including "Do The Right Thing” and "Malcolm X." A committed stage actor, he has won Obie awards for "Zooman and The Sign" at the Negro Ensemble Company and "Distant Fires" at The Atlantic Theatre Company, where he performs and teaches as a company member.

Esposito has just completed his feature film debut as a writer-director on "Gospel Hill,” which stars Julia Stiles, Angela Bassett, Danny Glover and Taylor Kitsch.
