RACHEL GETTING MARRIED

A founding member and lead singer of the Brooklyn-based band TV on the Radio, TUNDE ADEBIMPE is also an actor, director, and animator. TV On The Radio has released four albums since 2001; their most recent album, Return to Cookie Mountain (Interscope Records and 4AD, 2006) was named the "Album of the Year" by numerous publications including SPIN for 2006. TV On The Radio's most recent album, Dear Science, is slated to be released in Fall 2008.

As an actor, Tunde was the lead in Jump Tomorrow (IFC/Film Four 2001) and The First Three Lives of Stuart Hornsley (Big Son Films, 2004). He is also an accomplished animator; he directed the Yeah Yeah Yeah's animated music video for "Pin” (2003), and worked as an animator for MTV's popular show Celebrity Death Match.

Tunde Adebimpe was born in St. Louis, MO, and grew up in Nigeria and in the Pittsburgh, PA area. He is a graduate in film production of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, where he specialized in animation.
