KESHIA KNIGHT PULLIAM (Candace Washington) began her work in the entertainment business at nine months old and was the youngest actress ever nominated for an Emmy award when she was only six years old. This recognition was a result of her work on "The Cosby Show”, and she has also earned several other awards during her time on the show, including the People's choice award, NAACP image awards, and the Nick Kids' Choice awards.

After her work on the show, Keshia graduated from Spelman College 2001 with a BA in Sociology and a concentration in Film. She has also studied film at the NYU Tisch School of the Arts and Clark Atlanta University. Her work in the industry extends to producing as well, as she both starred in and worked as a producer on the project CHRISTMAS AT WATER'S EDGE.

Currently, Keshia resides in Atlanta, Georgia, where she is a series regular on Tyler Perry's "House of Payne.” She is also working on opening Atlanta's Actor Studio, an actors' resource center.
