SALLY HAWKINS (Miss Lucy) is best known for her role as Poppy in Mike Leigh's HAPPY-GO-LUCKY for which she won numerous awards, which include a Golden Globe¨ for Best Actress, the New York Film Critics Award for Best Actress, the Los Angeles Film Critics Award for Best Actress and the Silver Bear Award for Best Actress at the 2008 Berlin Film Festival. She has also collaborated with Leigh on ALL OR NOTHING and VERA DRAKE.

Hawkins most recent film roles include Gurinda Chadha's IT'S A WONDERFUL AFTERLIFE, Stephen Burke's HAPPY EVER AFTERS, Sherry Hormann's DESERT FLOWER and Lone Scherfig's AN EDUCATION. Other film roles include Woody Allen's CASSANDRA'S DREAM, Tom Shankland's WAZ, John Curran's THE PAINTED VEIL, and Matthew Vaughan's LAYER CAKE.

Upcoming films include MADE IN DAGENHAM directed by Nigel Cole, SUBMARINE directed by Richard Ayoade, LOVE BIRDS opposite Rhys Darby and JANE EYRE with Michael Fassbender and Mia Wasakowska.

Hawkins starred in Anne Elliott television production of Jane Austen's Persuasion for which she won the Golden Nymph Award for Best Actress at the Monte Carlo Television Festival 2007. Other television credits "20,000 Streets under the Sky,” "Tipping the Velvet” and "Byron,” in which she played Mary Shelley, "The Young Visitors,” "Fingersmith” and two series of "Little Britain,” as the recurring character Cathy.

Notable stage appearances include Ian Rickson's "The Winterling” at the Royal Court, Howard Davies's production of "The House of Bernarda Alba” at London's National Theatre and Ian Rickson's production of Jez Butterworth's "The Wintering” at the Royal Court to name a few. Ms. Hawkins is about to make her Broadway debut in the Roundabout Theatre's production of "Mrs. Warren's Profession” with Cherry Jones.
