KERRY O'MALLEY is best known by audiences for her current role as the
sister Mary-Kate on the acclaimed Showtime series BROTHERHOOD. An
accomplished stage actress, her Broadway roles include Betty Haynes (the
Rosemary Clooney role) in IRVING BERLIN'S WHITE CHRISTMAS, the Baker's
Wife in INTO THE WOODS (2002 revival, cast album, Outer Critics Circle and
Drama Desk nominee), Dolly Tate in ANNIE GET YOUR GUN (also Reba
McEntire's understudy), TRANSLATIONS and CYRANO â€“ THE MUSICAL.
Her film and television credits include M. Night Shyamalan's THE
HAPPENING, John Dahl's ROUNDERS, the mockumentary THE FLYING
SCISSORS, series regular roles on COSTELLO (Fox) and THE MIKE O'MALLEY
SHOW (NBC), and guest spots on LAW & ORDER, LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL
VICTIMS UNIT, KIDNAPPED, MONK, WITHOUT A TRACE, MY NAME IS
EARL, NYPD BLUE, CHARMED and THE KING OF QUEENS.
Her other New York stage credits include Fran Kubelik in the acclaimed
Encores! presentation of PROMISES, PROMISES (opposite Martin Short); the
original cast of the Pulitzer Prize-winning HOW I LEARNED TO DRIVE (with
Mary-Louise Parker and David Morse); FLIGHT (Anne Morrow Lindbergh);
OVER THE RIVER AND THROUGH THE WOODS (Caitlin); BRIGHT LIGHTS,
BIG CITY (Megan); FINIAN'S RAINBOW (Sharon) and DUBLIN CAROL
(Mary). Outside of New York, her many roles include Molly in THE
UNSINKABLE MOLLY BROWN, Nellie Forbush in SOUTH PACIFIC, Mother in
RAGTIME, Sister Sharon in ELMER GANTRY and Electra in THE ORESTEIA.
She is a graduate of Duke University and the American Repertory Theatre
Institute for Advanced Theatre Training at Harvard University, a native of
Nashua, New Hampshire, and a devoted Boston Red Sox fan.
