FAIR GAME TY BURRELL (Fred) effortlessly plays roles ranging from classical theater to contemporary film and is quickly establishing himself as one of our finest and most versatile actors. On television, Burrell currently stars as Phil Dunphy in the ABC critically-acclaimed hit "Modern Family.”. In 2010, Burrell received a Primetime Emmy® nomination for "Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series” and earned a TCA nomination for "Individual Achievement in Comedy.” In its first season, "Modern Family” won the TCA Award for "Outstanding Achievement in Comedy,” and a Primetime Emmy® Award for "Outstanding Comedy Series.” In film, Ty recently completed shooting Butter, opposite Jennifer Garner, for the Weinstein Company. He will next be seen in Morning Glory opposite Harrison Ford and Diane Keaton for Roger Michel. Ty's recent film credits include The Incredible Hulk, National Treasure 2, Fur, and Friends with Money. Burrell previously starred in the FOX sitcom, "Back to You”, opposite Kelsey Grammer and Patricia Heaton. He also starred in the half-hour CBS sitcom, "Out of Practice”, opposite Stockard Channing and Henry Winkler.
