MONTE CARLO

CATHERINE TATE (Aunt Alicia) has appeared in Mrs. Ratcliff's Revolution, 66, Starter for Ten, Scenes of a Sexual Nature and Gulliver's Travels, starring Jack Black.

On television she played a guest-starring role as Donna Noble in the 2006 Christmas Special of Doctor Who, which led to joining the cast as the full-time Doctor's Companion (reprising her role as Donna) for the hugely acclaimed fourth season. The role won Tate the Best Actress award at the U.K. TV Choice Awards and a nomination for Outstanding Dramatic Performance at the 2008 National Television Awards.

Her own comedy sketch series, The Catherine Tate Show – three seasons, three Christmas specials and a special Comic Relief DVD (featuring Tony Blair and Daniel Craig) – won numerous awards and displayed her talent for character ‘transformation'.

Tate's other key television roles include starring in the ITV drama The Bad Mother's Handbook, and, for BBC, the sitcom Wild West and cult sketch show Big Train. She wrote, directed and co-starred in a Sky short film as part of the Little Crackers season.

Her theatre credits include the forthcoming National Theatre production of Season's Greetings, David Eldridge's play Under the Blue Sky and Neil Labute's Some Girls (alongside David Schwimmer). Tate has also portrayed Sunny Jacobs in Bob Balaban's production of The Exonerated, and co starred in the Royal Shakespeare Company's A Servant to Two Masters (West End and worldwide tour).
