LEE TAMAHORI (Director) first won critical acclaim in 1994 with his debut feature, an adaptation of the Alan Duff novel, "Once Were Warriors.”

The Wellington, New Zealand born (April 22, 1950) director then went on to direct the Hollywood crime thriller, "Mulholland Falls,” starring Nick Nolte, Melanie Griffith, Jennifer Connelly and John Malkovich.

Other credits include "The Edge,” written by David Mamet and starring Anthony Hopkins and Alec Baldwin; "Along Came a Spider” with Morgan Freeman; the Bond box office hit "Die Another Day” with Pierce Brosnan and Halle Berry; "XXX2: The Next Level” starring Ice Cube, Samuel Jackson and Willem Defoe; and more recently "Next” with Nicolas Cage and Julianne Moore.
