BIG MIRACLE

JOHN KRASINSKI (Adam Carlson) has captured the hearts of American television viewers for the past seven years, playing the charming Jim Halpert on the hit NBC television series The Office, where his on-again, off-again romantic relationship with Pam (played by Jenna Fischer) was finally resolved with their marriage in a top-rated episode of the series that aired in October of 2009.

He has also found substantial success in films as a leading man, most recently starring opposite Kate Hudson and Ginnifer Goodwin in the romantic comedy Something

Borrowed, as well as in director Nancy Meyers' celebrated romance It's Complicated, with co-stars Meryl Streep, Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin.

A native of Newton, Massachusetts, he graduated from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, as an honors playwright and later studied at the National Theater Institute at the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center in Waterford, Connecticut.

After a short stint as a script intern on the television talk show Late Night with Conan O'Brien in 2000, he turned to performing and appeared in small roles in such films as Kinsey, Alma Mater, Duane Hopwood and director Sam Mendes' Jarhead before being chosen to co-star on The Office.

His film career has built alongside his television work, with small roles in such successful features as Dreamgirls, The Holiday and For Your Consideration, leading him to starring parts in Leatherheads (alongside George Clooney and Renee Zellweger), director Ken Kwapis' License to Wed and the road comedy Away We Go (opposite Maya Rudolph). He also voiced characters in the animated films Shrek the Third and Monsters vs Aliens.

On television, he has appeared in the series Ed, Law & Order: Criminal Intent and Without a Trace, among other productions. In 2009, he wrote, directed and co-produced the independent motion picture Brief Interviews With Hideous Men, which he adapted from David Foster Wallace's book of the same name. Among his cast of actors were Will Arnett, Julianne Nicholson, Timothy Hutton and Bobby Cannavale.
