FRIENDS WITH KIDS
Golden Globe winner and six-time Emmy nominee JON HAMM is best known for his
nuanced and iconic portrayal of Don Draper on AMC's award-winning series "Mad
Men”. His performance over four seasons has garnered him four Emmy nominations
for Best Actor in a Drama, four Screen Actors Guild Award nominations for
Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series, the 2011 Critics'
Choice Television Award for Lead Actor in a Drama Series, the 2011 TCA award for
Individual Achievement in Drama and the 2008 Golden Globe Award for Best
Performance by an Actor in a Drama. Additionally, in 2009, 2010 and 2011, he
joined with the entire cast to win the Screen Actors Guild Award for Best
Ensemble
in a Drama Series.
Hamm has appeared as Dr. Drew Baird in multiple episodes of the Emmy-winning
comedy, "30 Rock", for which he has received two Emmy nominations for
Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series. He has also hosted "Saturday Night
Live” three times, to critical acclaim.
On the big screen, Hamm recently starred opposite Ben Affleck and Rebecca Hall
in
Warner Brothers' critical and commercial hit THE TOWN, which Affleck also
directed, Zack Snyder's fantasy-thriller SUCKER PUNCH, also for Warner Brothers,
in the indie feature HOWL, with James Franco, Jeff Daniels, and David Strathairn,
and was most recently featured in the smash hit Kristen Wiig comedy
BRIDESMAIDS, produced by Judd Apatow. His previous film credits include
SHREK FOREVER AFTER, in which he voiced the character Brogan, THE DAY
THE EARTH STOOD STILL, IRA & ABBY, KISSING JESSICA STEIN and WE
WERE SOLDIERS.
