JOELY RICHARDSON (Monica Hansen) was recently seen playing the young Queen Elizabeth I in Roland Emmerich's film Anonymous. She also co-starred in David Fincher's The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. This year she appears in Thanks for Sharing, opposite Tim Robbins.

Richardson trained at RADA. Her first professional job came in a production of "Miss Julie” at Liverpool Playhouse. Other theater credits include a season at the RSC, "Beauty and the Beast” at the Old Vic, "Saxon Shore” at Almeida Theatre, "Lady Windermere's Fan” at Theatre Royal Haymarket, "Madam Melville” at New York's Promenade Theatre and "Steel Magnolias” in the West End.

Last year Richardson returned to the New York stage in Michael Weller's "Side Effects” at the Lucille Lortel Theatre, receiving rave reviews. At the start of 2012 she delighted audiences with her portrayal of Ellida in Ibsen's "Lady from the Sea” at The Rose Kingston.

Richardson made her film debut in Sir David Hare's Wetherby. She also appeared in Peter Greenaway's Drowning by Numbers and Stephen Poliakoff's The Tribe. Other film credits include Event Horizon, 101 Dalmatians, The Patriot, Maybe Baby, Sister My Sister, Affair of the Necklace and Under Heaven.

For six seasons Richardson starred on the FX series "Nip/Tuck,” earning two Golden Globe nominations for her performance as Julia McNamara. Other television credits include Ken Russell's "Lady Chatterley's Lover,” "Wallis & Edward,” "Lies My Mother Told Me” and "The Tudors.”
