DENNIS HAYSBERT (Mr. Fish) captured the attention of audiences and critics alike with his groundbreaking role as President David Palmer on FOX's hit series 24, for which he received his first Golden Globe nomination. Haysbert returned to television starring in his own series THE UNIT, which premiered on CBS to record-breaking ratings.

Most recently Haysbert co-starred in the comedy THE DETAILS, alongside Elizabeth Banks and Tobey Maguire. Other film credits include BREACH, JARHEAD, LOVE & BASKETBALL, ABSOLUTE POWER, LOVE FIELD, MAJOR LEAGUE, HEAT, WAITING TO EXHALE, NAVY SEALS and SUTURE.

Born and raised in Northern California, Haysbert won his first television role on an Emmy-winning episode of LOU GRANT. He also appeared in the critically acclaimed CBS series NOW AND AGAIN.

Haysbert is very active in the fight against AIDS. In 2000 he was the spokesperson for the Harlem Health Expo's "Break the Silence" campaign and represented The Western Center on Law and Poverty. He is also very proud to serve as the global ambassador for the Discovery Channel's Global Educational Partnership.

Haysbert currently resides in Los Angeles.
