ESCAPE FROM PLANET EARTH
BRENDAN FRASER (Scorch Supernova) continues to garner widespread critical
acclaim for his versatile, inspired performances as well as his keen eye for selecting thought-
provoking material. Seamlessly transitioning from smart independent films to action-packed
blockbusters, Fraser is now gearing up to shoot Andrew Morahan's IN WITH THE OUTLAWS,
starring opposite Annabelle Wallis, Danny Trejo, Alice Cooper and Toby Huss. This
comedic Western concerns a sheriff born into a family of outlaws who must keep his
relations from stealing a consignment of gold that rolls into town.
Fraser is also lined up to shoot Raymond De Felitta's MARRIED AND CHEATING, opposite
Eva Longoria and Sarah Jessica Parker. The film tells the story of three couples experiencing
infidelity, deceit, confusion and all the other wonderful things (including love) that marriage
has to offer.
Fraser currently has the romantic comedy A CASE OF YOU in the can, co-starring Justin
Long, Sam Rockwell, Peter Dinklage, Evan Rachel Wood, Sienna Miller and Vince Vaughn.
The film is about a young writer who tries to impress a girl he meets online with an
embellished profile but finds himself in a real mess when she falls for him and he has to
keep up the act.
Now in post for Fraser is the indie film HAIRBRAINED, opposite Alex Wolff and Julia
Garner, which revolves around the unlikely friendship between a 14-year old genius and a 41
Previously Fraser starred in (and served as executive producer on) WHOLE LOTTA SOLE, a
heist comedy directed by Terry George; the drama GIMME SHELTER with Rosario Dawson and
Vanessa Hudgens; the family comedy FURRY VENGEANCE, with Brooke Shields; and the drama
EXTRAORDINARY MEASURES, alongside Harrison Ford and Keri Russell.
Earlier Fraser starred in such blockbusters as JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EART, which
grossed more than $100 million domestically; THE MUMMY: TOMB OF THE DRAGON EMPEROR, earning
more than $400 million worldwide; GEORGE OF THE JUNGLE, a $100 million hit; and Inkheart, which
made $60 million.
On the opposite end of the spectrum Fraser starred in THE AIR I BREATHE, which
premiered at the 2007 Tribeca Film Festival and also featured Forest Whitaker, Andy Garcia,
Sarah Michelle Gellar, Julie Delpy, Emile Hirsch and Kevin Bacon; the Best Picture winner
CRASH, directed by Paul Haggis; Phillip Noyce's THE QUIET AMERICAN, based on Graham
Greene's 1955 thriller of the same name; and Bill Condon's GODS AND MONSTERS, opposite Sir
Ian McKellen and Lynn Redgrave.

Showtime's telefilm "The Twilight of the Golds."
Fraser made his Broadway debut in 2010, starring in the comedy "Elling," based on
the Norwegian novels by Ingvar Ambjornsen. His diverse theater roster includes a 2001
appearance at the Lyric Theatre in the West End production of Tennessee Williams' "Cat on
a Hot Tin Roof." Directed by Tony Award winner Anthony Page, Fraser played the role of
Brick opposite Frances O'Connor as Maggie Pollitt.
Fraser received high praise for his work as an anxious writer in John Patrick
Shanley's "Four Dogs and a Bone" at the Geffen Playhouse, in which he co-starred with
Martin Short, Parker Posey and Elizabeth Perkins for director Lawrence Kasdan.
Born in Indianapolis and raised in Europe and Canada, Fraser has been dedicated to
honing his craft since the age of 12. He began attending theater when his family lived in
London. After attending Toronto's Upper Canada College, Fraser received a B.F.A. in acting
from the Actor's Conservatory at Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle.
