RICK YUNE (Kang) saw his breakthrough role come in Scott Hicks' Snow Falling on Cedars, in which he starred alongside Ethan Hawke and James Cromwell. He also starred as Johnny Tran, Vin Diesel's rival and the ruthless leader of a Vietnamese gang, in The Fast and the Furious. He played the villain Zao in the Bond film Die Another Day, alongside Pierce Brosnan and Halle Berry.

Most recently, Yune starred alongside Russell Crowe, RZA and Lucy Liu in The Man with the Iron Fists. Produced by Eli Roth, the stylish action film is sure to become a cult classic.

Yune wrote, produced and starred in action film The Fifth Commandment as an assassin who turns down a job that hits too close to home and finds himself targeted by the elite members of his profession.

Raised in Washington, D.C., Yune grew up practicing martial arts and qualified at 19 for the Olympic trials for taekwondo. Graduating from the Wharton School of Business with honors, Yune moved to New York to become an equities and futures trader for newly formed SAC Capital. He became an investor in numerous ventures. Bumping into a modeling agent in an elevator on his way to a job interview is what transitioned Yune into the entertainment business.

Yune became the first Asian American to be featured in successful campaigns for Versace and Ralph Lauren's Polo Sport, among others. He was once named to People magazine's list of the world's sexiest men.

Yune's real passion lies in the development and advancement of social welfare programs across Third World populations and economies. He is an active promoter and fundraiser in regions across Africa and Southeast Asia. Yune is also an active board member of the Center for Global Dialogue and Cooperation, an international NGO that encourages communication between business and politics on both global and regional levels. It also helps emerging countries become more efficient, capable and stable.
