AARON ECKHART (President Benjamin Asher) has earned considerable acclaim for his many notable roles, including playing the love interest of Oscar-winner Julia Roberts in Steven Soderbergh's Erin Brockovich and doomed do-gooder Harvey Dent in Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight. Eckhart first received critical acclaim in Neil LaBute's controversial drama In the Company of Men, which became the highest-grossing independent film of 1997.

Eckhart earned both a Golden Globe and Independent Spirit award nominations for his starring role in Jason Reitman's directorial debut, Thank You for Smoking. He was most recently seen costarring with Johnny Depp in The Rum Diary, headlining the sci-fi actioner Battle: Los Angeles and playing a grief-stricken father in Rabbit Hole, opposite Nicole Kidman. Eckhart will next be seen in the modern-day horror epic I, Frankenstein and Radius-Weinstein Company's The Expatriate.

Originally from Northern California, Eckhart studied theater and film at Brigham Young University, where he met Neil LaBute and appeared in many of his plays. The actor has been seen in LaBute's films Possession, alongside Gwyneth Paltrow; Nurse Betty, opposite Renée Zellweger; and Your Friends and Neighbors, with Ben Stiller and Catherine Keener.

Other film credits include Sean Penn's The Pledge, alongside Jack Nicholson; Brandon Camp's Love Happens, opposite Jennifer Aniston; Oliver Stone's Any Given Sunday, with Jamie Foxx; John Duigan's Molly, opposite Elisabeth Shue; Alan Ball's Towelhead, with Summer Bishil; Scott Hicks' No Reservations, opposite Catherine Zeta-Jones; John Woo's Paycheck, with Ben Affleck and Uma Thurman; Ron Howard's The Missing, opposite Tommy Lee Jones and Cate Blanchett; John Amiel's The Core, opposite Hilary Swank; Brian De Palma's The Black Dahlia, with Josh Hartnett; and Hans Canosa's Conversations with Other Women, opposite Helena Bonham Carter.
