JASON BATEMAN (Rich Boyd) was honored with a Golden Globe Award in 2004 for Best Actor in a Comedy Series and also earned an Emmy Award nomination and two Screen Actor's Guild nominations for his portrayal of Michael Bluth in the Mitch Hurwitz created, award winning television comedy series Arrested Development.

Bateman's recent feature film credits include Jason Reitman's Junoand Up in the Air, Horrible Bosses, The Change Up, The Switch, Couples Retreat, The Switch and State of Play.

Among his other films are The Baster, Hancock, The Kingdom, Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium, The Ex, Dodgeball, The Sweetest Thing, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Starsky & Hutch and many others.

On the small screen, Bateman directed the comedy pilot Do Not Disturbf or the Fox network, which premiered in 2008, and reteamed with his Arrested Development creator, Mitch Hurwitz, to voice a character in the Fox animated comedy series, Sit Down, Shut Up. Bateman also directed and produced the FX Network pilot The Merger.

In his adolescent and teenage years, Bateman's portrayal of the charming schemer Derek Taylor in Silver Spoons prompted NBC to create a spin-off, It's Your Move in which Bateman had the lead. He then starred with Valerie Harper in Valerie, Valerie's Family and The Hogan Family. Prior to this, he was a series regular on Little House on the Prairie.

Bateman's other television credits are numerous including TV movies (Robert Kennedy and His Times, Moving Target, Bates Motel) and guest appearances on St. Elsewhere, Burke's Law, Simon, Chicago Sons, Rude Awakening, Scrubs and many, many other shows.
