Tony Award-nominated actress SANAA LATHAN (Robyn) delivers a striking presence and undeniable energy to each project she takes on, and continues to build on an already impressive career. Lathan has completed production on the independent feature Repentance, opposite Forest Whitaker and Anthony Mackie. In the thriller, Lathan plays Maggie, a yoga teacher whose brother-in-law involves the family with Angel (Whitaker), an unstable and violent man.

Lathan was most recently seen on television in season two of the Starz series Boss, opposite Kelsey Grammer. She also starred as the title role in the play By the Way, Meet Vera Stark at the Geffen Playhouse in Los Angeles, a role she originated at the Second Stage Theatre in New York. Lathan received the Lucille Lortel Award for Best Actress for her leading role in the play. Prior to that, Lathan starred as Maggie the "Cat" on the West End in the critically acclaimed and Olivier Award-winning revival of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.

Lathan's film credits include Steven Soderbergh's Contagion, opposite Matt Damon, Kate Winslet, Marion Cotillard and Laurence Fishburne for Warner Bros. Pictures; Focus Features' Something New, with Simon Baker; Tyler Perry's The Family That Preys, alongside Kathy Bates and Alfre Woodard; Wonderful World, opposite Matthew Broderick; Fox Searchlight's romantic comedy Brown Sugar, alongside Taye Diggs, Queen Latifah and Mos Def; Gina Prince-Blythewood's romantic drama Love & Basketball, with Omar Epps; the romantic comedy The Best Man, one of the top-10 highest-grossing African-American films in history; AVP: Alien vs. Predator, a box-office success for director Paul W.S. Anderson; and the thriller Out of Time, with Denzel Washington. Lathan received an NAACP Image Award nomination for her role on the FX Network series Nip/Tuck.

Lathan reprised her role as Beneatha Younger in the highly rated and critically acclaimed ABC production of A Raisin in the Sun, alongside Sean Combs, a role she performed on Broadway and for which she received a Tony Award nomination for Best Performance by a Featured Actress.

Currently, Lathan is playing the role of Donna on the Primetime Emmy-nominated FOX animated series, The Cleveland Show.
