Formidable stage and screen star JULIE WALTERS (Yvonne Potts) is one of the UK's leading and most respected actresses, having starred in some of the biggest British films of all time including BILLY ELLIOTT, MAMMA MIA!, CALENDAR GIRLS and as Molly in the globally successful HARRY POTTER series of films.

Following a varied early career of stage, comedy and TV roles, her debut film performance and reprise of a West End role alongside Michael Caine in EDUCATING RITA in 1983 brought critical acclaim in the form of a BAFTA and Golden Globe win and a Best Actress Academy Award nomination.

As well as her celebrated film career, Julie has since starred in numerous memorable TV and stage roles, including her Olivier Award winning role in Arthur Miller's 'All My Sons', as Mrs Overall in Victoria Wood's 'Acorn Antiques' and in 2010 the BAFTA and International Emmy award winning role as politician Mo Mowlam in Channel 4's 'Mo'. In 2012, Julie played the lead in 'The Last of the Haussmans' at the Royal National Theatre.

Julie was awarded an OBE in 1999 and CBE in 2008 for her services to drama.
